The Tests feature allows you to keep track of the dates of blood tests such as Coggins for EIAV which are required for crossing country or state borders and admission to some shows.
The Tests icon on the Home Screen will display badges if any horse tests are overdue (red) or imminent (amber). You can keep a record of the tests for each horse by tapping on the Tests Icon on each horse's Home Screen.
If you tap on the Home Screen Tests icon when the badges are displayed, a summary page will show you which horse has overdue or imminent tests.
If you tap on the Home Screen Tests icon when NO badges are displayed, you can select a horse record to branch to.
You can set the number of days warning you require on the 'Stables'->'Preferences' screen. If you don't want to be reminded, just set the days to zero. When you do that a circular red dot appears next to the top right hand corner of the icon, which reminds you that alerting is off.
When you add a test you can: save the date and optionally add a note and upload an attachment of the test results (such as a PDF).
After you have done that, when you go to the Tests summary screen for that horse, you will see a magnifying glass icon if you have uploaded an attachment. When you tap on the icon you will see the latest test uploaded. There are share options on that screen in case you want to print it or forward it.
If you tap on the clock icon at the bottom left of the first tests screen, you can set the number of months until the next test is needed for the selected horse. This will then trigger reminders as explained below.
If you want to be reminded when tests are imminent, go to the home screen then tap on 'Stables', then 'Preferences'. You can set the number of days warning you require on that screen. (Don't forget to save that selection).
When the test is imminent or overdue, a reminder badge will appear on the Tests icon on the Home Screen and the horse's Home Screen.
If you don't want to be reminded at all, for any of the horses, set the reminder days to zero on the Preferences screen.
If you don't want to be reminded for a particular horse, just set the interval to zero within that horse's test record (the clock icon).
