The Horse List

This is the entry point to the home screen for each individual horse.

When you tap on a horse, you will be taken to the home screen for that horse.

This page also allows Administrators to add horses to your stables. (If you are not an Administrator or Manager, that option is greyed out).

To add a horse tap on '+'.

Profile Pictures

If you want to add a profile picture for your horse, tap on the horse, to go to it's home screen and tap on the galleries icon. If you haven't already, you can upload a photo there.

Once uploaded, if you touch and hold the image you will see a menu allowing you to select that image as the profile picture. That will replace any previous profile picture. (You can also remove it via that menu, so that no profile picture is displayed).

Key Dates

For each horse you will see a summary of key information, including dates when vaccinations and worming are due. Also displayed are when visits are due from the farrier, physio and dentist.

If the entry is marked as 'off' that means alerting for that item is turned off within the record for that horse.

If the entry is marked as 'all off' that means reminders for that category have been switched off for all horses in the Stables (Stables->Preferences).

If the entry is in amber that means treatment or a visit is imminent. If it is red, it is overdue.

Toggle list view

There is a list icon near the center of the bottom bar on the screen. If you have a lot of horses, you can tap that to change to a more compressed list to minimise the scrolling.

Sort the list

You can view a re-ordered list to show for example, the horses in date order who require vaccinations, worming or visits from farriers, dentist or physios. The list will be displayed with horses who are most overdue or imminent at the top.

To do this tap the button in the center of the tool bar at the bottom of the screen. You will see a selector appear above the tool bar which allows you to choose which order you want the list to appear in. Tap the tool bar button again to revert to the default order.

Changing the default order

The default order the horses appear in, determines their position in the various lists used within the app. Those include horse selectors for treatment, feed tables, exercise lists etc..

If you are an Administrator or a Manager, you can move the horses to a different order in the default list. To do this touch and hold a horse then drag and drop it into the new position. N.B. You can only do this when the sort order selector is not displayed, i.e. when the default order is displayed.

When you have changed the order a new button will appear in the toolbar on the bottom left of the screen. If you tap it you will be asked if you want to save the new order. If you select 'OK', the new order will be displayed for all devices which log on to these stables. If you select 'Cancel', the list will revert to the original order.
